...for working SO MUCH BETTER than MusicMatch, even better than I ever expected. I thank you for not crapping out repeatedly while ripping cds. YOU ROCK!

Oh, and also thanks for not bogarting all the PC memory so I can actually do other stuff on the interim. :p

Okay, so it's been AGES since I've run the CCleaner, McAfee or the defragmenter, so instead of writing yesterday I did a major run-through of files and whatnot that I may or may not need, cleaned out a few other places, and did what needed to be done. At the moment I'm defragmenting the K: drive (the one with the latter half of the alphabet for my mp3s) and once that's finally done, I'll do the J: drive (the one with the former half, plus my writing, pictures and etc.).

For the most part, my important files have already been backed up on my C: drive, and at some point today I'll back up the writing files to the thumb drive that's sitting forlorn and empty on my desk at the moment.

Also, I'm thinking of getting rid of Napster. I rarely use it, and earlier this week I got an email from them informing me that the membership price will be going up. And also, I've downloaded a number of songs from them that ended up not playing anymore for one reason or another. So yeah...I'm just going to download the last four free songs I have left and then give them a call to get rid of it. Yes, you read that correctly--in order to quit the subscription, you have to call them. Go figure... So yeah, as of the end of the month, Napster is no more on my system.

Eventually I will some writing today, but at the moment some more important things are afoot: the Pats/Chargers and Packers/Giants games!!! ;)

What's worse than having a song stuck in your head all day at work that you like and haven't heard in quite some time, but don't have on hand?

An mp3 player that doesn't want to upload it for some stupid reason.

X(

EDIT: Looks like it did actually upload onto the mp3 player, even though the software says it didn't. Just noticed this morning it was on there! And for those of you playing along, the song was "Mountains" by Prince. ;)
