When twenty years ago, the night was just starting then
I used to watch the PBS station log off for the night
That was when I could survive on four hours' sleep
A cup of coffee and a quick breakfast
And I'd be up and running
Now I'm afraid to fall asleep for fear I won't
Fall asleep after all and stay up all night
A late night rambling, a late night session
Probably wouldn't be the best of ideas
Especially when I'd keep up the missus
So a quick one before retiring for the night
A bit of rambling here on the internet
Just enough to let everyone know I haven't faded away
And justify my existence against what it used to be
