This is just pathetic...
Jun. 27th, 2005 11:49 amI was sent out to retrieve the Garage Sale signs from around the neighborhood on Sunday, so instead of getting in my car and stopping every few moments to pull those bad boys out of the ground (props to Lynxie for 133t stake ski11z), I decided to walk the entire length. All in all probably a half-mile altogether, more or less.
Okay, considering Boonton is all hill and the weather was 90s and humid (making breathing a chore), I should have known better than to take that route, but the fact that I was SORE and OUT OF BREATH by just that walking alone just pissed me off. I'm severely out of shape. Which means that if SF is a reality, I will be SO SCREWED when it comes to hills. I think it's time to stop sitting on my butt and do a bit of walking. ;)

Oh, you mean San Fran, not science fiction. Well still, head in jar/robots should apply to California too. :)

Date: 2005-06-27 04:46 pm (UTC)I too am feeling like I don't get enough exercise, and my weight has been slowly but steadily creeping up a little bit here, and a little bit there. I have been down this road many times and I don't like where it ends, so have started trying to cut back on my snacks. The worst is the weekends. At work I can avoid snacking by not getting money out of the ATM. No cash, no snacks. At home it is much harder. I need to get rid of all snack food in the house!

Date: 2005-06-28 02:07 am (UTC)We wish the best for you both in your new life together. We're
so happy that you two are happy! That is what is most important.
These are your own choices, your own decisions. Contrary to what
some may have perceived, your happiness (and happiness in our
family as a whole) is what is in my best interest.
Being the family genealogist (hence my interests / priorities
in communications, organizing family reunions, family military history,
etc.) it will be a pleasure to add Emmalyon to our family tree!
Welcome Sister-In-Law! And thank you for making my only brother
a very happy man. It is so nice to see. :-)
See you both this weekend. Safe trip!
(p.s. Thanks, Emma, for the mini cello lesson when you visited
last time! Lessons start next week - will keep you posted on how
it goes!)

Date: 2005-06-28 12:06 pm (UTC)As my aunt said when she met him, we are happy to have J. joining our family as well.
(and you will probably be a much better cellist than me soon, as I was a callow, lazy teenager when i took lessons!!)
