Weekend

We stayed up too late last night. Went to bed around midnight, as we'd stayed up to watch the Olympics opening ceremonies. I hadn't planned on it, but damn, that production was probably one of the best I've seen! Very impressive. And they had a Leonard Cohen song as well! Canada is so cool. Plus they had Wayne Gretzky! :)

Not too much planned for the weekend...we have things we can do, but we're both totally fine with slumming around the house and watching winter sports as well. It's been a long week for both of us, we figure we can be lazy. I do definitely need to stop at the CoffeeBank though to get some quarters, as I need to do laundry. And later on this morning we may do a run to Target/etc. down in Daly City to stock up on stuff. And I'd like to stop at Kohl's, as I am in need of some pants! (Not to worry, dear reader, I do in fact have pants, I just need newer ones.) Plus, and this is important, we need to find a hair place among the many in our neighborhood because I NEED A HAIRCUT BUT BADLY.

We were thinking of maybe going to Borderlands Books, but we figure we may wait on that. But we may end up going out to eat somewhere this weekend just as a Valentine's Day thing. Haven't decided where yet, though...other than that, we'll probably just give in to our laziness and hang around. Although Emm had a good suggestion by making sure we get our walking in via the Wii while we're watching the Olympics, that way we won't feel guilty. ;)

If you go to Borderlands, say hi to Ripley for me! At the cat shows there's a calico Sphynx (calico skin, of course -- no fur!) that sucks up massively to the judges and is almost always picked to be in the top 10 Premiers. I wish Freyr had even a tenth of her friendliness!
