Why didn't anyone tell me Mutemath was so damn GOOD? And that I knew their song "Typical" from a few years ago?? :p

We picked up their first CD at Newbury in Leominster on the next-to-last day of vacation...their new one just came out this week and I definitely plan on picking it up.

LOVE this cd, and the fact that they use the lyric "with ferns like this, who needs anemones?" amuses me greatly. :p

The problem with going to Newbury Comics is that I get drawn in by what they're playing there. Case in point, The Dear Hunter's new album:

I can't decide if they want to be Muse, ELO, Queen, Self, or Ben Folds Five. Not sure how to categorize them other than perhaps poppy prog, but I like what I heard and picked it up.
