Have you figured out how you're driving up to Montreal from MA? I know you and yours are probably going a slightly different way, but for [livejournal.com profile] emmalyon and I, we're probably just doing Rt 2 to Rt 91 and northwards on various highways...

Let me know if you have anything planned out, as I'll be driving the emmawritermobile...thanks!

He's on his way home now, but I'll make sure to point him here. I know our route is going to be weird because first we have to go to Maine to pick up [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], so we might be driving to Portland on Tuesday, spending the night, picking Cat up off the first ferry in the morning, then driving up to Montreal from there. So we're going to be starting out further East than we normally would be. :)

Cool, thanks!

I'm thinking the main drive for Emm and I shouldn't be too bad. We'll be doing 91 north up to rt 89, then 89 up to the border. I'm just curious about the stretch between the border and Montreal, as the highway becomes rural route. If your team's going a completely different way, that's cool, I'm sure I can figure something out. ;)

I came back that way when we went up a couple of years ago. Nice country drive. The alternative, going all the way up 91 and then taking 10 over to Montreal, is boring as sin.

Cool. I did a Google Maps search and it actually followed the route I expected it to (which is kind of surprising, honestly), saying it was just shy of 5 hours. The 91-to-10 route was like an additional hour...and yeah, not want I want to do.

Hmm. Now I need a French icon and a driving icon...

I was planning on getting in the Pathfinder and making it go.

So we should be expecting to meet up with you sometime during the second half of the Hugo ceremony then, eh? ;)

BTW, Emm wanted me to tell you that she found two Polish restaurants in Montreal, in case you are tempted. :)

We're headed to Portland ME before we hear to Montreal, so I don't think we'll be having much of the same concern. Plus, others seem to have answered your questions quite well.

I'd be very interested in Polish food.
