So my friend daevinanoctem is going to see Dead Can Dance. I'm insanely jealous because I've been a fan of them since that wonderful year, 1988, and this would make the third time I've missed seeing them live. I'm sure they're playing somewhere in or near NYC, but at the moment I don't have the funds. Just like last time. MEH!

Work goes on unabated. Lots of scanning, lots of emailing, and little else. I do have tunage with me ( K-ROCK's online station kicks ass, even more so than the radio station itself), and the pay is great, considering what I'm doing. Although I'm always nearly sidetracked by LJ and checking my Yahoo mail, things are going great. The job is supposed to last until the end of July, but we'll see how long it goes. I just don't want to end up here for too long...it's a bit of a slow, unexciting job so I can't see myself doing this for years on end.

I'd like to publicly thank emmalyon's mom for offering fundage for our eventual wedding, and I'd also like to thank my eldest sis for offering fundage for our August trip to Glasgow for Worldcon. We were both worried where our money was going to come from for both of these events, and now we can both breathe a bit easier. :D
