[Weekend] Fly-By Update

jon_chaissonFoo. Need to re-install McAfee. During the mass cleaning I did yesterday afternoon (Malware cleaning, CCleaner, McAfee, etc), I must have disabled it/got it wonky somehow. There's also the fact that a lot of things on my PC have been getting hung-app errors lately. Hmm.
Going to do some shopping at Target this morning, though, so I'll take care of that this afternoon, and will have a more detailed update after that.
Question, though: Why do computers only have about a three-year life cycle before things start crapping out? (And no, answering that with "Switch to a Mac" doesn't count, because I know at least five people whose Macs died horrible deaths within a few years as well. :p )
