jon_chaisson | [Spring] Item Dump

ITEM: Been listening to a lot of ambient stuff today while working from home...Boards of Canada's Geogaddi and Campfire Headphase as well as Global Communication's Pentamerous Metamorphosis and 76:14. Felt I needed some non-disruptive stuff to listen to while catching up on some work-related projects. Now moving on to albums currently filed under "love them but haven't listened to them in quite some time", which is more what I normally listen to when I'm working at home. Just finished listening to Curve's Cuckoo and currently listening to Oasis' Heathen Chemistry, which I really think is one of their best post-Morning Glory albums.

ITEM: After killing my right shoulder with my backpack for quite some time, I'm switching back to my red Skechers messenger bag. Haven't used that for over a year--I know this because the last time I used it, I was still working down on the 5th floor--so I figure it might help, since I have to shlep my work stuff home with me. Will see how this goes!

ITEM: If the weather stays nice this weekend (I've heard it will), Emm and I may end up going to the Botanical Gardens in GGP. It's been quite some time since we've gone there, and it's always a nice romp through there. I may even take pictures to post!

ITEM: As predicted, my coworkers think I'm crazy for buying all those opera tickets. ;)

ITEM: Holy cats, I updated my writing blog!! I really should update that more...
