So yeah...looks like Phase 2 of replacing the wooden-slat siding on our apartment building starts today. I came home last night to see scaffolding up half of the Bay Street side of our building, and this morning at precisely 7:30 they started pulling the stuff off.

Thus the sound effects. ;)

So yeah...pardon our dust. We'll be keeping the shades closed, thankyewverymuch, so they don't see into our apartment. I do hope the windows hold up, though...they're being pretty violent with the slats there, and these are large windows...and now I'm wondering if I should take the pictures of that wall, just to be safe...

Definitely take pictures. It isn't the tearing off that will be the problem, it will be the pounding the new ones on. We had several nail pops when we had our siding done, in fact when they were installing they told us to take everything down from exterior walls/windows so that nothing fell.

Well, I meant "take the pictures off the wall", but taking pictures if any errant nails go through or any windows that crack/break, that would make sense... ;)
