Date: 2009-01-06 04:48 pm (UTC)I don't think we're looking to get any new features any time soon, or perhaps the new development will be in-house by Sup (I'm voting on the former). But there are many LJ-code ( based knock-offs back when it was open-sourcey and not a business)around the Internet (deadjournal, insanejournal) that are run by a couple of folks that I don't think make any money off it at all.
And if LJ actually does go down and no one tries to rescue it... there are the knock-offs and people will probably migrate to them.
