(nice dream)

Forgot to post on here about the dream I had the other day...I was hanging with the gang down here, when i got a package in the mail. I opened it up and it was a trade paperback. I took a closer look, and I saw that it was my book. My first published novel, in trade form, a good inch thick, with a nifty picture of me in the back that didn't make me look like an overweight dork. It even had a nice bright beige color to it with red lettering.

I don't know which novel it was that got published, but the fact that it was my first novel and it had a really nice package to it just thrilled me to bits. The fact that I just got one in the mail and not the typical complimentary package (some publishers do that if you ask nicely and use them for promotional stuff) kind of confused me, but just the fact that it was MY BOOK. PUBLISHED. IN MY HANDS. Quite possibly one of the best dreams I've had in a long time. :)

Of course, this just means that I'm gonna have to work that much harder to see that dream come to life. :)

If you want, I'll bring my camera up in March & we can take some non-dorkish shots. No guarantees, never really tried the portrait thing before, but I'm damned good with flowers and rugby, so...
