Good News:
We went outside today and hung out for awhile at the park across the street from Ghirardelli Square, enjoying the day, getting some reading done, and going to Tiernan's afterwards for a tasty sammich and a beer. Also finally cleaned our new and shiny Calphalon One cookware that I'm sure will last us for quite some time...

Bad News:
Calphalon, you really should make those price stickers on the bottom of your cookware a little easier to take off. Much wearing down of fingernails and scrubbing of sponges to get the damn things off so we don't burn them when we cook.
Also, both Emm and I got sunburns...on just our KNEES. Further proof that we should not be allowed outside on sunny days for an extended period of time.

Other than that, a good day all around. :)

Get some Goo Gone - it works great on stuff like that. Also, the knee sunburn isn't that uncommon. It's like your nose - it sticks out when you're standing up, so it gets all the sun. And it shades your lower legs, which is why they stay white the longest.

I always thought it was the long pants I wear year-round that keep my legs white the longest. :)

I also second the Goo Gone for taking off the stickers, it works really well. Just be careful what you get it on because it will start working on a variety of finishes.

After some searching we did in fact find the Goo Gone and it did indeed work! We'd thought of the same thing after I'd posted. It wasn't so much the stickers we had problems with but the remaining glue and sticker bits. Both came off quite nicely with the stuff!

That stuff is awesome.

I wonder if the safety info on it is different in CA, but if it is the same as the stuff we have you may remember my post about how it says harmful or fatal if swallowed, but also says elsewhere that it is non-toxic. :)
