Back on the Chain Gang
Jun. 12th, 2008 10:36 amOkay, back at work, doin' stuff. I'm beginning to think that breathing tar fumes yesterday was part of the reason I was getting all sluggish, but then again it could have been the heat as well. When the sun hits the east windows in the living room, it gets pretty toasty in there...
Currently nomming on some chips that someone had brought in yeasterday...a curious mixture of two different Kettle brand bags: Salt & Pepper, and Yogurt & Green Onion. I have to say the S&P ones are good if a bit heavy on the pepper, but the Y&GO are a LOT tastier than the flavor description implies. I may have to pick those up this weekend at Safeway.
Speaking of weekends...the North Beach Festival is this weekend, which should be fun. We went to it the last few years and there's always something neat going on, including watching the fun pro pizza toss! And I promised
emmalyon that I wouldn't get tanked this year if we stopped at Rogue for a beer. Note to self: drinking a 40 of Rogue's Chocolate Stout = BAD. :p
In other news...tweaked that scene in Chapter 4 just enough to change the setting...that's all that was needed, and it took a lot less time than I thought. Finished the chapter last night and started in on the first page of Chapter 5. On a side note, I posted a fun snippet over at
die_joncswerk from Chapter 4 if you are so interested. :)
Hope all is well in LJ land! :)
