emmalyon came up with a good title for my freelance travel articles-in-progress: Off the Waterfront. I believe I will be asking her for titles from here on in, because I can never come up with good ones that aren't stolen from song titles. I plan on writing up some articles this week.
And in other news, the newer media player I'm using, MediaMonkey, is actually kind of fun to work with and tweak, causing me to waste an entire weekend playing with it rather than doing work. Come to find out, I can in fact list the songs by artist, then chronologically. So much so that it accepts full dates and not just years--this means I can be an ubergeek and list the date of release. Something I've been wanting to do for some time. TEH AWESOME.
And in other other news, apparently when the Olympic torch comes through town on Wednesday, it will be going past apartment. This will be very cool. [NOTE: Now, I understand the protesting going on, and to some extent I agree with them, but I'm really hoping it doesn't turn into a free-for-all by the time it heads past my place...]
