Stay (Wasting Time)

So I get to start training my replacement. Yeehaw! This is when I do my best to explain something...and those of you who know me know how I can never explain something in a linear, concise fashion...wish me luck! I'm going to show her the ropes after lunch and then let her have a go at the invoices tomorrow. This should be fun...

I now have two other coworkers who are interested in the temp agency who got me the new job. I don't know if this place actually has a referral program (I'll have to look at the pamphlets) but if it does, that'll be sweet. And I already dropped off my info for direct deposit, so I don't have to deal with hoping the check comes in on Saturday so I can cash it. :p

Emm and I might be going back to MA on Memorial Day weekend, so we'll see what happens.

Yeah....I'm gonna have to move you to the basement...

They're starting to move people around on the floor here...I guess they're making people change cubicles to make everything more compact. Glad I'm out of here tomorrow, or else I'd be depressed as all hell...y'know, now I know what Douglas Coupland meant about calling cubicles "veal fattening pens".

In other news, it looks like the replacement is going to work out just fine. She knows most of what I need her to do, so there's little to worry about. :)
