I could have worked longer on it, but then I wouldn't have been able to get any writing done tonight. And besides, narrowing it down to one smaller box and throwing away the older tattered box was good enough.

Looks like most of the stuff in this box is writing-related in some way, from multiple versions of WIPs, notes on same, a LOT of maps I drew at work out of complete boredom, and a goodly amount of Murph drawings, including the very first ones!! So I can safely say now that Murph dates back to late 1990--first semester, sophomore year in college, which sounds right to me. Now that I have both the scanner and Photoshop, I will have to scan some of these puppies in and post them. And yes, [livejournal.com profile] chang3002, that does include the infamous "War!" strip I did back then. I'll post it just for you when I have the time. ;)

This also reminds me--sometime soon I'm going to have to find a Staples nearby that has a parking lot (the closest one is downtown on California Street, but no parking unless I want to hover around the neighborhood for two hours). I really need to buy a new paper shredder, as ours is coming close to giving up the ghost, and I still have a Staples GC I can use. Our pile of 'to-be-shredded' stuff is starting to grow.

That's it for now...I needs to write!

*WHEW*

It's 82 degrees here. EIGHTY-TWO. San Francisco almost NEVER has weather this warm. I can only wonder how hot it is in the East Bay, where it's normally ten to fifteen degrees warmer...

Our roadtrip was fun, something to do on a really nice day. I didn't take any pictures, though I was tempted to take the one I always forget to take: At the intersection of Route 1 (Cabrillo Highway, aka the PCH) and Pescadero Creek Road--you can see it on Google Maps here--there's a street sign across the stree saying "END" with the Pacific Ocean just beyond it. My first thought: well, one would HOPE so... :p

Tomorrow we drive into the Richmond section of town (not to be confused with the city of Richmond across the Bay), to geek out at a book store and possibly other things there. We shall see...
