It's Fleet Week here in San Francisco, which means that we've been hearing the Blue Angels flying overhead almost every afternoon since Friday. On the one hand it's kind of fun because we get to watch a free airshow without the nonsense of crowds! The downside is that our neighborhood is part of the flight path so for about two hours in the day we'll get this constant ssswwwwwwHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOARRRRRRRRRRRRSHhhhhhhhh every couple of minutes. We've gotten used to it, however. Today's show was interesting in that four of them flew straight over our house so low and close I swear I could see the rivets. YIKES!
Anyway...what's going on otherwise? The lovely weather! The Bay Area is having its summer stretch with clear(ish) skies and mid-60s temperatures, and we've been enjoying it while it lasts. Soon enough it'll start getting colder and the sky here on the west side of town will soon be smothered in and low clouds. We've been walking when we can, visiting the parks and going for coffee runs, generally enjoying it all.
Hope everyone has a lovely week!
