Not too much on tap this weekend...no operas/symphonies/museums/movies to go to... BUT!

We're going to the SF Library's BIG HONKIN' BOOK SALE tomorrow morning, where we'll be spending more money on books that we don't have room for! :)

Other than that...an attempt at sleeping in, and some housecleaning. Seems we've got some pollen and/or dust around here that's getting us all stuffed up so some dusting and vacuuming is in order.

And also tomorrow--call the Honda dealer so I can set up an appointment to give our car a once-over. It's been awhile, and we should probably get the brakes checked, oil changed, and whatnot.

Oh, and also? WRITING! I need to finish posting the rest of the chapters so I can jump in and plan the rest of The Process of Belief. Then I'll be posting new chapters at [livejournal.com profile] edencycle IN REAL TIME. Ain't that a pip? :p

Not much to report...nice to be able to sleep in until 7:30! That seems to be our regular weekend wakeup time--a mere two hours after we normally wake up during the week. So we spent the morning watching our normal weekend fare (a mixture of videos on VH1 and home improvement shows on TLC or HGTV) and drinking coffee until we decided a road trip down to Target was in order.

Target shopping was surprisingly smooth (and we stopped at Kohl's as well so I could get a replacement belt--my current one is falling apart), and we also zipped over to the BevMo at the end of the parking lot for their interesting collection of beers and sodas. And HEY! FREE HOT DOGS. They had some guy out in front grilling up various kinds of dogs (polish, hot links, even venison) so Emm and I each got one to add to our count. Sweet deal!

So coming home I decided that a car wash was in order. Yes, after all these years we still have problems with the damn pigeons crapping on our car...while it's parked in the garage!!! X( Well, at least the building management knows all too well about it and have apologized profusely and repeatedly. So--car was washed, a new plastic tarp was put over it, and now I'll stop complaining about it. ;)

So now...just hanging out, watching Naruto episodes, and playing on the internet. Yep, another lazy weekend! ;)

Tomorrow: Iolanthe at the Symphony! :)
