...was a rather expensive gift certificate to Haight Ashbury Music Center so I can buy me a new electric bass!! WOOOT!!

For the record (ha! see what I did there?), I've been eyeing one of the Ibanez basses there I do quite like the Ibanez line of guitars, but I'll definitely look around and see what I like.

I've decided that the litmus test is to see how easily I can play the bassline to The Smithereens' "Blood and Roses". ;)
