Peter Jennings died on Monday...I didn't see this anywhere!!!

*sigh* I've either got to pay more attention to the news (read: I've got to actually watch/listen to some) or I've got to plug CNN in intravenously or I'll miss things like this...

Sad to see such a great journalist go. He was one of the better ones.

It was one of those blips. A couple days of coverage, then nothing. Maybe you should set up a separate news e-mail account and sign up for all the news alerts the various news agencies offer. That way you would be able to disconnect from the news and still be able to go back and see what the agencies considered critical.

I do get e-news updates from the NY Times and Washington Post (and Der Spiegel, which is a great German mag), but there was so much email when I got back that I just dumped them all! Guess I just missed it...
