Just got the critique from dancinghorse for A Division of Souls a few moments ago. I haven't read it yet, since I'm still on the work clock.

Let's just say I'm excited and terrified at the same time.

Which is par for the course for us writers when it comes to other people reading our stuff. ;)

Heh...I've already taken a peek, and I've gotten past the "oh crap it's not even close to good at this point" inner voice. On the contrary, my brain is suddenly thinking of a newer, better opening--one that's similar to my failed NaNoWriMo attempt, interestingly enough.

I'll be reading the comments closer this weekend, so I'll offer up a more detailed post then. ;)
