He was the lead singer of The Call, who had some pretty great tracks from the mid-80s:
Probably their most recognizable track, one that got me into them.
One of my big favorites of the 80s, love the energy of this track.
And, interestingly enough, he played Apostle John in The Last Temptation of Christ. Also--didn't know he was the father of singer/bassist Robert Levon Been of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club...
