Okay, so technically I only visited Texas and Georgia because they were stopovers while flying to/from New England.

Now I'm trying to think of good reasons to visit some of these other states...

Our maps are almost polar opposites. XD

Come up to visit Washington State some time. We have Seattle, pretty mountains, the largest temperate rain forest in the world, and a beautiful high desert on the eastside.

And if you do come up to Seattle, let Shadawyn and I know. :)

...

ETA: And Urnesha in the next comment made me thing:

Yellowstone is the only a great reason to visit Wyoming; Las Vegas and Hoover dam are great reasons to visit Nevada; Montana is a great reason to visit Montana (assuming you're at all interested in the Big Sky, which is beautiful); Crater Lake is a great reason to visit Oregon; Saint Augustine, Cape Canaveral, and the chance to eat gator are great reasons to visit Florida...

That's all I've got for now.

Oh, Seattle is definitely on our list of places to go. What with the SF museum, the coffee, and of course you and Shadawyn. ;)

And Crater Lake is on my list too, as I'm fascinated by how it was created. :)

Florida...? Yeah, probably Cape Canaveral, Disney, and Daytona (for the races), but I'm not too interested in it otherwise...

That's on our list...we were thinking of maybe going there later this year or next year, and of course visiting [livejournal.com profile] juniperblue in Tucson as well... :)

Whee! Please do come! In addition to the Grand Canyon -- the grandest reason to visit -- there is also the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, high tea at the Phoenician, the San Xavier Mission, and night viewing at the Kitt Peak observatory!

Also, the cat club I belong to will be hosting another new year's cat show in Las Vegas. It will be the last one we'll have. The fireworks last year on the strip were nice. It'll be at the Alexis Park Hotel again -- probably for the same rate of $85 a night. Perhaps you and Emma might consider joining me in Vegas over New Years! That would let you color in Nevada, too! :D
