[Vacation] Making the last few days count

Not doing to much other than hanging out the next few days...we got back on Monday evening around 7pm after a loooooong but pleasant drive and passed out soon after.

Yesterday we went up to Brattleboro VT (where I got a new tee shirt from Mocha Joe's to replace the one I bought about 4 years ago, along with more books at some neat bookstores) and then onto Keene NH, where we stopped at our favorite bookstore up there, the Toadstool (the same one I'd frequent back when I lived here).

Today I'll be meeting up with my friend Bruce, who I worked with at Yankee and jammed with for a few years in jeb!. We ended up not crossing paths last time, so if anything we'll hang out for an hour or two at the tavern in Deerfield to catch up. Should be fun! Also today is some pre-packing and mailing some things out--yes, we're mailing some of our stuff back so we don't have to lug it ourselves. And tomorrow we'll be meeting up with head58, aliwings (and perhaps lynxreign and emilytheslayer if they can make it too) for lunch. And if we can find her, hunt down inochinoakari to say hi!

And on Friday, we'll be heading out mid-afternoon for our 6pm flight back out to SF. We'll be getting back sometime around midnight PT, so I'm sure we'll be spending most of the weekend just recuperating and sleeping in late. ;)

So yeah...good to see family, friends, and old haunts again! :)
