[edencycle] Chapters!

Put them (yes, them! For there are two!) up late last night at edencycle for those who'd like to read them! :)

Admittedly, these two chapters aren't the best...they're a little slow and contain some infodumping, and will most likely be re-integrated into surrounding chapters to make them shorter and quicker, but still...enjoy! :)

So I will be honest, I am finding it hard to get into the story and I think it is because I don't know where the story is supposed to be going. A back-of-the-paperback blurb/summary to introduce me to the overarching story would probably help me, personally, a lot.

Ooh, good point, completely forgot to do that!! I'll whip that up this weekend.

I think I'd forgotten to do that due to the fact that most of my readers already knew the background of the trilogy due to my going on about it in the past.

Also, your comment did make me think about what's wrong with the opening too...as much as I opened it with a bang (literally!), I've got to back up said "bang" more with the reasoning behind it, and not with just a sort-of-police procedural. ;) There is more to it, I promise! ;)
