Well, then!
Apr. 16th, 2009 12:53 pmIf George Will says I shouldn't wear jeans, he'd probably have a heart attack if he saw me wearing my denim jacket!!
You'd think he'd have something better to worry about. ;)

Date: 2009-04-16 08:19 pm (UTC)This is a part of Right Wing class warfare and you can tell when he says "This is not complicated. For men, sartorial good taste can be reduced to one rule: If Fred Astaire would not have worn it, don't wear it. For women, substitute Grace Kelly."
So suits during the day and tuxes at night for men and women wear gowns 90% of the time. Oh, and long loose scarves that wrap around the rear axle and snap their necks. That last part is likely why he didn't pick Ginger Rodgers.
He didn't pick Kathering or Audrey Hepburn 'cause both were known to wear pants.

Date: 2009-04-16 09:41 pm (UTC)There has got to be a middle road of appropriate attire in our daily lives. Maybe it would be a good example for us adults to put the jeans away, at least when not doing yardwork. At least, I don't think it would necessarily hurt.
