Ooooh. I don't whether I'm excited in a very geeky sort of way or frightened. The original version is in my very small DVD collection. :)

Saw the Trailer for this in the theater. While I have a nostalgic bent for the original (in the same way as I do "The Cat from Outer Space"), I don't pretend it's all that good. So a remake doesn't bother me all that much. And the Rock looks lovably goofy here (and let's be honest, he IS the draw for it). So I'm willing to give it a chance...I know the kids are interested in it, if not dying to see it.
