Song: "Gorecki" by Lamb.

Thought #1: Caren's theme in A Division of Souls when she finally meets Anando. The song came up on my Zune when I was coming home today and realized the lyrics are Caren's exact reaction to their finally meeting in person.

Thought #2: Hmm...if I'm still going to go through with the website, perhaps in the "easter egg" portion I could post suggested listening... ;)

Explanation: Yes, my characters (and in effect my novels) have musical themes, and most of my writing has soundtracks. I'm not sure if that's just using a musical meme to remember what a character or a scene is like, or I'm just weird. :p

It's really a good song to use in a lot of context. This song is on the TV advert for the new Tomb Raider commercial. I was like "hey this sounds familiar" and it made me finally dig back and find my Lamb discography. Needless to say, I can't stop listening to it and have been rec'ing them to all my friends.

Lamb is a band I keep forgetting I love. They were a big inspiration when I was writing the trilogy. It's kind of funny how well they fit into that storyline...their song "Small" actually inspired a scene for Caren's sister later on. ;)
