Honestly? I think the band would be all for it, technologically speaking...it really wouldn't surprise me if someone (either the Band, the estates, or EMI--who knows) is holding up because of the bottom line.

It's interesting because I seem to remember the Beatles were relatively late getting onto CD as well (and of course EMI did a crappy job with them).
