My good friend, writer and fellow Californian queenoftheskies is in a bit of a pickle. She lives just outside LA, and depends heavily on her hybrid car to get her to work and her kids to school...and its battery just crapped out. Those who know about public transportation in the LA area know that it's pretty laughable, and she needs help.

sent a small donation. hope she gets what she needs. and i hope that the battery turns out to be under warranty when all's said and sifted, 'cause it's a fairly big component of a HYBRID car. Ya know?
