I just spent a good hour or so writing a big scene in Chapter 5, in which Gabriel meets up with Paolo, and it was going good...

...until I realized that it could never happen. Because Paolo is, at this point, in Glasgow, Scotland, on a European tour with the Crucibles.

I am a DUMBASS.

*headdesk*

Ah well. At least I can salvage it by putting a different character in there.

Yeah, true...but had there been no snag, it would have been a really GOOD scene. As it stands, I can put a different character in there and tweak it a little, but it won't be as good. Ah well... :p

If it's any comfort, I got 3/4 of the way through Seasons and realized I'd forgotten a major character in the entire NOVEL. :p
