So...umm...I really don't remember last St. Paddy's Day being so...celebratory. The sheer amount of people getting 'faced and making all sorts of noise in the neighborhood is definitely higher than last year. Not to mention the higher number of FARKING. LOUD. MOTORCYCLES. going through our neighborhood every half hour. Certainly a WTF type of day.

Oh, and why is it that San Francisco is pretty much a ghost town on Sundays?!?? Apparently everywhere we were planning on going tomorrow is either closed or open very weird hours. Guess we should have done our bookstore/yarn store runs today instead...

Odd fact: by chance, I was almost in San Fran for St Paddy's this year, but circumstances made an abrupt about-face. So, another holiday in ol' Seattle. Some of my favorite weirdoes showed up, though, so that was cool.
