Saturday morning, once again up early, watching the local news and making coffee while A. sleeps in.  It's one of those weekends where we have nothing planned or scheduled, so I guess this means that one of us is gonna have to take the initiative and say 'okay, let's get out of the house and go somewhere.'  I'm thinking maybe a walk down to the Richmond Republic for lunch (which of course would also include a stop to Green Apple, because there are some new books out that I would like to pick up).  It'll get us out of the house, at least!

I think I'm at the point where I'm ready to start working on the prewriting for the New Project already.  I've been kinda sorta putting it off so I can finish up a few other things and focus mainly on the Lidwells revision, but it seems this revision is going to be a hell of a lot quicker and smoother than I expected.  [Not that I think I'm a perfect writer...more like I have a hell of a lot less reworking to do than I did with the trilogy.]  I've been looking forward to this one, so finally bringing it up to the next level feels great!

As for Meet the Lidwells...I'm a few months behind schedule on it, so it looks like it might not pop up until December.  I'm not entirely happy about that, but what can ya do?  I don't think it's that I was lazy throughout the time I was working on it...I think I didn't give myself enough time.  I should have started it earlier in the year if I was aiming for a September release.  I'm not gonna get myself down on it, though.  It was a learning experience.  Still...it's been an amazingly quick turnaround nonetheless, and I'm happy with the work I put into it, so all in all I think it's been a successful project so far.  I am curious, however, to see how readers will take it!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!
