Hmm. So I just updated my AVG virus blocker, and in the process...I can't use my thumb drive anymore.
This is not the first time this has happened, mind you. I think when I tried downloading that music program![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
head58 suggested some time ago, the same thing happened. Only this time, I did a little testing and plugged other various things into the USB slots--my mp3 player, an older thumb drive, and so on--and all worked totally fine. It's just decided not to jive with my PC anymore.
The good thing is that I know for a fact that the thumb drive isn't borked--it's just being stupid, and I can still grab everything using one of the older laptops.
The annoying thing is that I've been using it to save my writing, so at the moment I can't work on Love Like Blood, since the most up to date stuff is on that drive. I can grab the ADoS stuff because I'd saved it to the PC too.
SO!
I'm about to go shopping for a good thumb drive that I can use for portable writing storage. Any suggestions? I don't necessarily need a lot of pretty bells and whistles--just a goodly amount of space where I can save my writing, that's it.
