Okay, so the damage isn't that bad. ;-)
Sep. 25th, 2010 01:22 pmSpent $69 at the Friends of SF Library BIG HONKIN HUGE BOOK SALE, including $16 worth of cds, so that's not too bad. I got an older copy of the Poet's Market (yes, the poetry version of the Writer's Market), as well as some other nifty books for both of us. The damage isn't nearly as bad as we thought it would be. ;)
Now to go for a walk, get some ice cream, and a little later catch the bus back downtown so we can go eat at Max's and listen to some Tchaikovsky at the SF Symphony. So yes, a busy Saturday!
ALSO: BBC America is playing Top Gear all weekend. We are both extremely happy about this.
ALSO ALSO: We're hearing (I think) live reggae in the neighborhood, but have no idea where it's playing or why. Don't see any festivals mentioned online at this point... EDIT: We figured it out...the Presidio Landmark (the former Presidio Hospital at the head of 15th Ave which is now VERY overpriced apartments, was having an open house/free concert/etc up there. :)
