Really, nothing much to report. It was a quick week, workwise...I tells ya, working from home on Wednesdays really breaks up the week quite well, and I'm not drained by the time Friday comes around. Added to the fact that our workplace was doing an "associate appreciation week" all week, so everything was pretty positive there.

Writingwise, I'm still trying to shoehorn more work into my workday, but I did get a lot of work done on the Love Like Blood rewrite--two and a half chapters over the course of six days, which I'm quite happy about! So far there have been about three sections where I had to do some serious fixing, but other than that I've been focusing a lot on the flow and the grammar.

Yesterday wes pretty busy--we woke up reasonably early and headed out to the farmer's market at the Ferry Building and got a goodly amount of greens and fruits to bring home. A little later, I took the remaining books that we wanted to get rid of (leftovers from the last Great Book Purge) and donated them to the local library up the street. I think that was pretty much it for us at that point, as it was TOO DARN HOT to do anything else. A little later on, though, we put together this ottoman we purchased from Amazon (a most excellent purchase, as you might see from the review I gave it). The rest of the day was pretty much just hanging out. And somehow, at the end, we managed to stay up long enough to watch Inuyasha. :p

Today's been a sort-of lazy day, in which we both did a bit of cleaning (Emm clearing out the closet and finally switching winter with summer clothes from the closets, and me doing a bit of shredding, recycling, and tidying of my desk). We'd originally been tempted to go to Tiernan's for lunch, but decided ordering from Extreme Pizza was more our style.

It's now 2:30 PT, so we've got the rest of the day to do whatever. We have nothing planned, so I'm figuring the usual relaxing through reading/internetting/Mythbusters-watching is pretty much it for us. Unless something comes up, of course.

As for next weekend...we'd originally planned on going to the Mission District area to visit Luna Park and the bookstores, but we realized it's the same weekend as the Pride Parade, so we'll have to think of something else to do so we don't get stuck in the throngs of pedestrians and traffic. Not sure what, though...will have to think about that. We'd like to do something, though, since after all, it is our third anniversary... :)

On that note, that's pretty much it for us. How's life elsewhere?
