Long weekend revue

First off, my FList has grown exponentially due to an influx of people from Forward Motion suddenly arriving with LJs in tow. Hello fellow FMers, glad you could make it! :)


Anyway! Another fun-packed weekend here at Casa T-C, as evidenced by emmalyon's two picture posts from yesterday. Airshows, horse and carriage rides, parades, who could ask for more?

Oh, perhaps my sciatic nerve not acting up on me??? :( I know, I know...I sit on my butt all day at work, how could I possibly get sciatica there? Well, perhaps it's partly because I've been trying to break a bad habit of leaning forward in my chair for hours on end (our work computers have the Big Monster Monitors from the Year 1981 that don't have the best quality), and partly because I've been doing a lot of between-call reading and writing. I've got to figure out a better way to sit at work that doesn't bother my back. Or maybe I'll snag one of those chairs from the middle section that aren't being used and look a LOT more comfortable...

Other than that, I drove emmalyon to the airport last night, as she's out in NJ this weekend for work-related stuff until Wednesday. Which of course means me staying up too late, not eating right, and other bad things for a few days. What? I'm a guy, what else did you expect? :p

Today is a day off for me, and I really don't have anything planned, so I'm figuring I'll just hang about the house, do some tidying up, perhaps get out for a walk to Safeway and the book store or something, and see where I go from there. And I'm being a dork and slowly going through all my LJ posts (yep, all of them) and updating the tags. Why? I don't know.

Oh, and some writing would probably be good too. ;)

Oh, and let it be known that it's still blowing my mind that in a little over a week, I'll be on a plane to Hawaii for the first time. w00000t! :)
