WTF-Grade Gas
Mar. 30th, 2007 08:03 amI am so glad we only rarely use the car. Why? Because SF is proudly (sort of) the place with the HIGHEST gas prices in the nation.
The Shell at 6th and Harrison here is at $3.97.
Let's repeat that, shall we?
$3.97.
And that's for regular unleaded, not the super.
What the hell...?
Mind you, that's the highest here...most stations are at least fifty cents lower, but yeah, it's still way too frikkin' high. We're lucky enough to depend on public transportation and only fill the tank maybe every two months or so. If that. The last time I filled the tank was on the way to San Simeon (that was last month), and I believe we're still at over a half a tank. Emm's car ROCKS in mileage.
