Meanwhile...
Mar. 12th, 2007 08:13 amBeen kind of busy doing random things, and now I'm frustrated. Why? Because I'm having second thoughts about the Decline and Fall rewrite as well. Damn my ADD, I completely lost interest in rewriting it at the moment, same with the IWN. Now I have this weird urge to pick up my trilogy and FINALLY finish it. What the hell is wrong with me that I'm having trouble focusing on one project to work on? Or is it that I really should be working on something NEW rather than pulling out what may end up being trunk novels after all? It's really annoying when I psych myself up for projects like this, only to realize later on that it may not be a good idea after all. GRRR... X( More on this later....
Then again, on the plus side, I've finally stopped being lazy (read: sidetracking myself via the internets) and started on the LLB rewrite. At this point I'm quite happy with it; there are just a few passages that need rewriting, and a lot of verb tenses (esp. near the beginning) to be fixed. Only one or two major scene rewrites and one scene dump, that's about it.
Other than that, been fun here...Emm and I went up to the Haight and hung out for a bit, stopped at Magnolia Pub & Brewery (my coworker Kim lives upstairs from it and she highly recommended it) where I had an extremely tasty and filling lunch, and ended up trading more stuff at Amoeba (more on THAT later as well...).
On deck for this week: more LLB rewriting!
