Okay, for those of you back east, feel free to make fun of me for this post.
It's the start of a reallly nasty cold front coming through San Francisco and not only is it going to be cold, but windy. And when it gets windy here, there's really no trees to diffuse it, so it just gets pushed between the buildings just like in Manhattan. And with me working on one of the widest streets in the city and known for its wind tunnel effects, it's going to be nasty over the next few days. It's about 45 degrees right now and will probably hit the low fifties today, but tomorrow it might actually go down to 36 degrees--21 with the wind chill.
Sure, I should be used to that sort of weather, having grown up in New England, but living in a state where a heavy leather coat, snow boots and multiple layers are often not needed, I'm a little bit underprepared for it. So yeah, it's gonna be a COLD one.
Good thing Emm did prepare me with a toasty scarf and a few hats! :)
