Good news on the writing front: I managed somehow to figure out how I'm going to end Gabriel & Cassandra! Which is strange, considering that I usually don't know how I'm going to end a story until I'm closer to the end! I suppose the fact that I'm giving myself one more week to come up with the ending so I can write up the summary and send it out for the Worldcon writer's workshop has something to do with it...
Let's just say that, at this point, no more characters, at least the lead ones, are going to die. I was contemplating killing off Gabriel himself (and having him become one of the undead Enclavers), but I'm thinking that might not be a good idea after all. Instead he's going to be the hero everyone expects him to be (that is, everyone except himself).
More soon!
