Busy busy busy
Nov. 9th, 2005 02:09 pmWhew! Scanning's done. I now have enough folders to go through that I'll have stuff to do NEXT week as well. ;)
Now, onto bigger and better things. I started putting together a spreadsheet of our househunting activities so far, and I've got 2 set appointments, 4 "call us when you get in"'s, and a small hand full of up-in-the-air's. And two queries that I sent out today and am awaiting a reply. Three of these listings are by way of apartment realtors (Trinity, Citi Apartments and J. Wavro), so they will most likely have more than one apartment for us to check out. I've been doing a lot of apartment hunting over the last few weeks, and for some disturbing reason I find I enjoy doing it. It's the thought about me getting a job that's worrying me, but I'm not letting it do so. I'm sure I can find something.
Like I've said to others, we hope to have our signatures on someone's lease agreement before we leave the city.
Which gives me a little over an hour to get stuff done...I'm leaving early so Emm and I can meet up with the moving people so they can get an estimate on how much we're going to be moving. I'll have to make a rough estimate of how much stuff I still need to bring down, and most likely it won't be nearly as much as I'd like, but I think I can deal with letting go of a lot. It's time to start off fresh, and I think that could include the music too, y'know? ;)
Okay. Back to work.
