I can hear again! The sinus problem in my left ear cleared up overnight! WOOOT! :D
In other news...
I was thinking today about the places I'll miss when I move to SF. I'll definitely miss going to Amherst and Northampton on the weekends to buy cds and see movies. I'll definitely miss going up to Keene to shop at the bookstore. I'll definitely miss driving into Boston and hanging out there for the day. And of course I'll miss going to
head58's gaming nights! I'll probably touch on this in future editions of RTS Presents: Radio Radio so I won't be wallowing in sadness right now...
So yeah, I finally picked up an external hard drive, and all my songs are now there instead of clogging up my hard drive. The ol' PC is running faster and smoother now (with the occasional hiccup that's par for the course with Windows). The interesting thing is that MusicMatch won't recognize the songs anymore, even though tried setting up a new library. I'll have to tweak it a little more if I can. However, Real Player works divinely, and I can play both the .wma files from MM and Napster and the .mp4 files from iTunes, so I can access all my tunage from one player now. The only problem with RP is that I'm not entirely happy with the setup of it, as it refuses to keep the songs in the order I want them in! I'm sure I can figure out a way to tweak that, but in the meantime I'll make do. Besides, the downside to MM is that I found myself playing MM more than actually listening to my cds, which can be more fun sometimes. I figure once we move and I have my radio on my desk (if there's room) (note to self: look into getting mounting shelves to put above the desk when we get the new place), it'll be back to actually playing tunage in real life rather than picking and choosing.
Let's see...what else...
The two-against-one with The Big Show last night was freakin' hilarious. That's the first time I've ever seen a dual slam by one guy. Brilliant.
Other than that, I'm just counting down the days until the big move. Whenever that is...
