1. Total amount of music files on your computer?
As of 3/10/05...I have 10433 tracks...plus the 445 U2 tracks that I downloaded from iTunes...which would make 10878 tracks. And I'm not even done with what h58 so disturbingly calls the Great Ripping [enter fart joke here]. I still have the rest of my tapes and some of my vinyl to sort through. Not to mention lynxreign's and emmalyon's collections. I think I may need an external hard drive...

2. The last CD you bought was....
Three of them, actually...Some Cities by Doves, In the Clear by Ivy, and Government Commissions: BBC Sessions 1996-2003 by Mogwai. All three are quite excellent...

3. What was the last song you listened to before reading this message?
Umm...I was listening to a lot of commercials on K-ROCK so I turned it off. I don't know what happened before that. Scary, isn't it? :p

4. Write down five songs you often listen to or mean a lot to you.
"Under the Milky Way" by the Church. One of the best songs ever written and recorded, and my all-time favorite. Saw the video on VH1 Classic this morning!! :)
"Sanguine" by Jeb! Probably the best thing Bruce and I ever recorded. Tied with "Temptation" by the Flying Bohemians, the best thing h58 and I ever recorded.
"Daylight" by Failure. One awesomely kick-ass song that fits perfectly over the ending credits, if my trilogy was made into a movie.
"She's Got My Number" by Semisonic. For obvious reasons. ;)
"Love" by John Lennon. Quite possibly the simplest yet most beautiful love song I've ever heard.

5. What new music are you really excited for in the coming year?
Porcupine Tree, New Order, Nine Inch Nails, Dishwalla, and apparently there's a rumor going around that Kate Bush might be in the studio soon if she isn't already...

6. What five people are you going to pass this baton to and why?
Umm...I think everyone I know on LJ already had it... :p ...so, um, emmalyon, lynxreign, inochinoakari, and whoever else wants it... :p
