110 Banned Books!
I'm surprised at the number of books I haven't read...I dunno, some of these are ones that I've tried to read but found them too much of a pain in the arse for one reason or another (more often than not I'd had to know a bit out the background behind the book to fully enjoy it--a big minus for me, since I read almost exclusively for enjoyment. Though sometimes I read for research...). Either that or I couldn't stand the author (Steinbeck, Hemingway, both for their extremely dry prose), or just never got around to reading it and it's not high on my list of reading priorities at the moment...
(Bold the ones you've read. Italicize the ones you've read part of. Underline the ones you plan to read someday.)
( edited due to some whiny reader :p )
I should add that there are a few authors here whose books I've read but aren't on this list that I've read and quite enjoyed, like Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury...I'm sure there are more, but I can't really think of them at the moment...
