I come home after zipping up to the PO to pick up Emm's package, and remember I have to start the dishwasher. I put the dishwashing liquid in the machine, and turn it on.




GROOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNGGGGKADADONKADADONKADADONK--




Well, hell. Looks like we're gonna have to get maintenance to come take a look at it, because it looks like we ain't using it for now.

I'm going to go quell my frustration with a can of Batman Spaghettios & Meatballs now.

Sorry to hear your dishwasher is broken, but the good news is that it might be cheaper for them to install a new one than fix the old one. That is what happened to Amy and I at our first apartment together. Our stove had problems from the beginning so they replaced it, and then the dishwasher died and they replaced that as well.

Well, wish I could say the same about our stove, but all they ended up doing was fiddling with the temperature gauge...it's still off by about 50 degrees, but at least it's not 100 degrees off anymore... ;)

Would be nice if they replaced it, though. Before this happened, I did notice it was getting rather choosy as to which dishes it wanted to clean. :p
