New England

brokenempathy...
Hometown: Athol
Do you know anyone named Sully?: Nope.
Do you use the term pissa?: Nope. Although I've used "wicked" a lot in the past...
Favorite Famed Bostonian: fellow Emersonian Denis Leary
Favorite Boston Team: The Patriots, of course!
Favorite Red Sox: Meh. Not a big baseball fan.
Favorite Patriot: Tom Brady rocks! The man knows how to work with a team.
Favorite Bruin: Hmm. Toss-up between Ray Bourque and Bobby Orr. Both were great.
Favorite Celtic: Meh, not a big basketball fan either.
Greatest Moment in Boston Sports History: Orr's dive after the winning goal. Well, that and the Sox winning the Series. And the Patriots winning the Super Bowl (not to mention what's-his-name making a snow angel in the end zone when they won...)
Worst Moment in Boston Sports History: Most of us never speak of that day when he missed that grounder...
Dale and Holley or The Big Show?: Umm...no idea. I'm figuring this is talk radio and I'm not a big fan of it at all.
Remy and Orsillo or Castiglione and Trupiano?: Ditto!
Do you own a Yankees Suck shirt?: I probably should, but I don't...
Ever seen a Cape Cod Baseball League Game?: Nope. The Cape was too damn far.
Do you trust eating seafood in non-New England states?: Yeah, here in SF! :p
Have you ever consumed the Lobster Roll at McDonalds?: Hell no. Just the idea of it scares me.
Can you name all 18 Sam Adams flavors?: Nope, sorry...I'm more of a Harpoon IPA fan myself.
Better ice cream: Friendlys or Brighams?: Friendly's is really sweet but very goopy and melts way too quickly. Brighams is really tasty but very dry. I have to say Brighams, since I worked there in '94...
Mikes Pastry or Modern Pastry?: Umm...huh?
City Life
Red, Orange, Green or Blue line?: Spent most of my time on the Green Line when I was living there. Red less so, until I moved home. Then Red when I visited--Alewife's still the best (and cheapest) place to park!
More annoying location during the summer: Newbury Street. Way too many frikkin' people. And they closed all my favorite shops on that street!!! :(
Have you ever walked the Freedom Trail?: No, and I've never gone to North End either, even when I lived in town. Never got around to it...
Favorite bar: I'd be going against my alma mater if I didn't say Crossroads!! But it is a great place... :)
Favorite Restaurant: Daedalus in Harvard Square, and the pizza joint in the Garage. Favorites that aren't there anymore--Buzzy's Roast Beef, Brigham's on Cambridge Street, Charlie's in Kenmore Square.
Favorite date spot: Me? Date back then? *snerk* I was too busy feeling sorry for myself. :p
Swan Boats or Tea Party Ship: Been near both, never boarded. I think. I may have been on the Tea Party Ship ages ago...
Aquarium or Science Museum: Both! Oh, and: "It's fun to find out what makes an ocean wave wave!" :p
Do you shop at the Christmas Tree Shop?: May have gone in once or twice.
Is Kellys Roast Beef the only reason to visit Revere?: Ooh, tough question...the beach is nice too...
Have you ever gone to a Jordans Furniture just for the attractions?: No, but I remember the commercials quite well...
New England
Favorite New England State: New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Least Favorite New England State: None. I like 'em all. Just that some are more annoying to get to or through. ;)
Favorite New England vacation spot: York/Wells/Kennebunkport/Ogunquit. Geez, who from New England didn't go up there when they were kids? :p I kinda miss going up there...
Last time you went down the Cape: Closest I came to it was two years ago when I had to drive someone down to Newport. Before that I'd say waaaaaaaaaay back in the day when my family went to Hyannis.
Have you toured any of the Newport mansions?: No, but I've driven by a few (see previous question).
Best beach: Long Sands at York. Quite a few fond memories of that place... :)
Ever been to the Lobster Festival in Rockport, Maine?: Nope!
Ever spent a Halloween in Salem, MA?: Yep, twice. It was a lot of fun. Guess I never saw how sold-out it could get... :p
Do you wish Cabot Cove, ME really existed?: No, but there are times I wish there was a Castle Rock, ME. :p
