*sigh*

Just general annoyance today. 1)No job. 2)Printer is acting all fuxxored, even though THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. 3)Mr. Mailman is dropping off mail as we speak. Why do I have the sinking feeling that he's gonna drop another redeliverance card without bothering to page me, which is EXACTLY what he did with us YESTERDAY. DO YER FRIKKIN' JOB, DUMBASS! 4)Felt like I did nothing today, even though I did a lot of errands. 5)Very little writing done last week.

On the plus side:
1)Another interview, this one with Adecco (who I was signed up with back in NJ). Speaking of jobs, I can visibly tell that there are more openings coming, as the Chronicle had their Big Honkin' Sunday Help Wanted Section, as well as more varied jobs being listed on my online updates. Never thought I'd say this, but being home all day is DRIVING ME NUTS. 2)Printer is behaving enough for me to use it, but I'll have to give it a good once-over to see if anything is in fact broken. 3)Managed to flag down the mailman this morning when he was dropping off stuff (ironically enough I was walking back from the PO to pick up something) and snagged another package. 4)I did get a lot done today, but didn't get laundry done. D'OH! Will do that tomorrow. I might need quarters too. So why is it that I did one load of laundry every week and a half in NJ but it seems I'm doing it every couple of days here?? Hmm.... 5)Going to fix that this week, damn it!

*sigh*

Okay, got that out of my system. :)

EDIT: Mr. Mailman did it AGAIN. Frikkin' A...is it really so damn hard to BUZZ MY APARTMENT BEFORE DROPPING OFF THOSE DAMN CARDS?!?? I've even met the guy--he's a nice guy and all, but dude--DO YOUR DAMN JOB. I'm getting sick of this.

Next time you see him, mention that you have been home but apparently the buzzer must be having problems. Ask him to buzz you to make sure it is working, and then tell him, "Hmmm, seems to be working okay now. Hopefully it will work next time you buzz up when there is a package."

Hee hee...I think you should lie in wait for the Mailman. With chocolate. Or booze. Welcome to the neighborhood. It will win you many friends. And I'll betcha he'll buzz next time...
