Going forward...

jon_chaisson...Emm just got the fax from our realtor of the dimensions for our apartment, and it seems to be about the size I thought it would be. The bedroom is a bit larger than I remembered it, but that's because they had two full beds on either wall when we checked the place out, thus making it look smaller. I think with some finagling we'll be able to fit everything we need to in the space alloted. I'd like to put my desk out in the living room, but I don't want to take up valuable space that could be used for other things. We'll see.
We bought some small bookcases from IKEA that are about 3ft high, and we thought we could line some of the windows or elsewhere with those so we still have wall/shelf space to put things. We also have a few cd racks that I'm sure we can put somewhere. Looks like we'll be able to fit everything in the room where we want it to go. Whatever else we need in the IKEA area we can get over in Berkeley, across the Bay Bridge. We'll see what we need when we get there.
